Burns
Although this is a large topic, in brief, burns occur when heated, chemical or electrical contact with our skin occurs. Burns, whose harm rises with the degree of the factor, can heal without scarring with basic bandages or can progress to severe burns scenarios requiring follow-up in the critical care unit.
If necessary, burn units and critical care units undertake emergency and wound cleansing, and if the burns cause skin damage, they are repaired with skin grafts and flaps.
In severe cases even if the burn has healed completely, you may need to use creams and moisturizers for the rest of your life. Scars and contractures that develop after healing are treated with plastic surgery and, if necessary, surgical correction.
