Chin Aesthetics

Certain protrusions of our face form the aesthetic units, and their lack or overdevelopment can create visual problems on the balance of beauty.
It is obvious that the most common and most serious one is the nose, which is the most frequent operation in this region.
While the nose is the most striking organ on our face, the others are the chin, forehead and cheekbones.
If we think of the face as a "+", the balance and harmony between these protrusions is aesthetically important.
For example, the nose of a patient whose chin and forehead is far behind will be larger and more striking.
For this reason, the face should be handled with a total view, and it should be considered that correction of a single unit will not be sufficient.
Structural problems with our jaw can cause functional problems other than visual appearance.
Being behind or ahead can cause problems such as large or small mouth and teeth closing, chewing, snoring and apnea.
Jaw visual disorders can be grouped under the following headings;
- Back of the chin
- Small and backward chin
-Forward chin
-Jaw asymmetry
In cases where the jaw is back, the jawbone can be moved forward and surgically corrected.
A permanent large chin tip can be provided with implants when it is backward and small.
If the chin is small and the lack of development concerns the entire chin line, the whole chin can be reconstructed with an implant.
Operations without serious complications provide a lifelong permanent visual improvement.
In cases where the jaw is large and advanced, it can be brought to the desired level by surgically rasping the bone.
In procedures that require surgery, it is usually made with an incision from the inside of the mouth, while incisions made from the outside of the chin rarely and do not leave a clear scar.
With fillers that create contours other than surgery, adjustments can be made and contour can be provided for the chin tip and total without the need for surgery.
With a filling process that lasts for 15 minutes, the existing volume loss, structural defects and asymmetries in our daily facial structure can be adjusted.
