Secondary Rhinoplasty

Secondary Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is the most common operation we perform in aesthetic and plastic surgery.
As people's self-care and self-confidence increase and the richness of the social environment develops, they are looking for more beautiful results regarding the nose structure visually and functionally.
I think they are right because it is the only organ that reflects our face on social media.
When the demands and operations increase so much, unfortunately, many noses that are not made with carefully become annoying again.
While waiting for your nose to be more beautiful, unexpected results reduce the motivation of our patients in their normal life and social environment.
I wish I had not had the surgery is a sentence we would not want to say in such a serious and irreversible way.
A nose that looks beautiful and breathes well is everyone's dream.
Who wouldn't want noses that look nice on their face and don't seem to have had surgery, as most of us want.
Of course, when talking about the perception of beauty, we should not think of our patients only as women.
As men, our numbers are increasing and almost equal.
What do we do in a negative situation in a surgery where an important part of it results in an unpleasant way while there are so many operations.
Secondary, that is, operations to be performed for the second or third time is a way we do not want, but we prefer to make our patients happy and to solve problems.
Unfortunately, our chances decrease in the 2nd and 3rd surgeries. Our chances of success decrease according to our patients who do not have surgery and seem like they will be the first surgery.
When we explain the situation to our patients who have had surgery before, we explain what we can do and what awaits us.
I can proudly say that among thousands of my patients, I have never had a patient who said why I had an operation.
Of course, I had a patient who had a second procedure very rarely and far below the average, because there may be a correction where the surgery is. These were all minor operations.
We usually perform nose reconstructing surgery with cartilage taken from the ear or ribs for our patients who need to be operated again.
Burun kıkırdak ve kemikleri kullanılmış olduğundan yeniden restore ettiğimiz burun için bize gerekli oluyor.
Since the cartilage and bones of the nose are used, it is necessary for us to restore the nose.
Of course, we do not want another operation area when we rarely find enough cartilage in the nose.
Of the thousands of operations, all were operated elsewhere.
Some had never been operated before. They were my patients who lost their nasal support tissues as a result of developmental or trauma. Or they were my patients whose nasal support tissues were never formed.
The majority of our patients that we have re-restored from our patients who have had surgery consist of patients with nasal collapse and nasal septum removal surgery as a breathing surgery.
Breathing surgery is the surgery to correct the wrong thing, open the stenosis and correct the curvatures. It is not a nose evacuation surgery.
All of the cartilages have a job and need to be protected.
After all these words, I want to tell you, your first operation is your biggest chance.
Unfortunately, our chances decrease in subsequent operations.
I will continue to perform the operations to correct the negative surgeries, which are among the operations I do the most, and I will not compromise on our principle of not leaving unhappy patients.
Your nose surgery may not be the first, but I hope it will be the last.
