Although it differs depending on genetic factors and environmental factors, the effects of aging become observed in everyone over time.

About facelift surgery;
It can be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia.
The duration of the operation differs according to the patient and the procedure to be applied, it can take 3 to 10 hours.
It may be necessary to be discharged the same day after the surgery or to stay in the hospital for 1 night.
What awaits you after facelift surgery?
• It is natural to have a general swelling and bruising, numbness and feeling of tension after facelift surgery.
• During the surgery, some facial nerves may be affected by anesthesia, so slight asymmetries may be observed on the face. These asymmetries resolve spontaneously within 3-5 days.
• After the facelift surgery, dressing is applied in such a way that the eyes, nose and mouth remain open. The dressings are opened after 2-3 days. After some surgeries, a drain can be inserted to remove excess fluid accumulated in the tissue. The drains are taken within 2 days at the latest. Dressing 2- If the sutures are not self-dissolving type, they are removed within 1 week.
• From the 2nd day after the operation, the patient can stand up and do his homework. After a week, the patient can return to work and put on make-up after the stitches are removed and the swelling goes away.
• It is recommended to avoid heavy exercises and excessive sun rays for a few months after facelift surgery.
